@Atitarev Ivanova says it should be phon=интэрвьюэр where the second е is also non-palatal, is that correct? Benwing2 (talk) 04:21, 1 July 2016 (UTC)
- Yes, if she says so. For me it's unusual, though, I say "интэрвью́ер" and [j] becomes very and light optional in such a position. I think this pronunciation is more modern and common in the urban environment. The dictionary is downloadable (PDF) but the website must be blacklisted here. --Anatoli T. - OK, if "интэрвью́ер" is normal for you then I'll leave it as-is; it's a bit of a pain to list all the variants including Ivanova's, and fix up the non-lemma forms. (On the other hand I just looked up Avanesov, and both Ivanova and Avanesov give phon=интэрвьюэ́р with final stress and final -э́р. Ivanova additionally says the в is optionally palatalized.) - @Benwing2 Just to be sure there is no misunderstanding, for me the normal is the accent on "ю́" in this word (an [j] becomes silent or optional) but "интэрвьюэ́р" sounds OK without [j] if the stress is shifted to the end of the word. --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 03:54, 4 July 2016 (UTC)

- Looks OK. I'm still not convinced about вь/въ part. Perhaps palatalisation of this type of consonants is optional in such positions - c + [j] + vowel? If someone pronounces "вью"/"бью" as "въю"/"бъю" it doesn't strike me as accented. I'd accept both [vʲju]/[vju] and [bʲju]/[bju] as authentic Russian.
