@Atitarev, Cinemantique, Wikitiki89, Wanjuscha Anatoli, Ivanova says that ма́ссовый (mássovyj) must have gemination, and that масси́вный (massívnyj), масси́ровать (massírovatʹ), массо́вка (massóvka) and related words have optional gemination. Yes. I wonder if words related to ма́сса (mássa) affected occasional (non-standard or colloquial) pronunciations of ра́са (rása) and ра́совый (rásovyj) (see common misspelling there). Some people think ра́са (rása) should be spelled with two с's but ра́сса (rássa) means small Indian civet. --Anatoli T. ^{(обсудить}/^вклад) 08:09, 31 July 2017 (UTC)
