Differing text in quote from The Master and Margarita[edit]

My copy (ISBN 978-5-699-79851-3, I think, but there are a couple more) has украшали rather than помещаться. It is from the Библиотека Всемирной Литературы and says at the front Москва: Эксмо, 2019 PJTraill (talk) 21:16, 17 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@PJTraill: Sorry, I don't quite understand what you're saying. What does "... has украшали rather than помещаться" mean? You can't simply swap the words here, you'd have to rephrase. Could you give the full sentence? --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 22:11, 17 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Atitarev I am sorry to have been unclear:
So you are right, it is more than just a one word change. I suspect it is a matter of a different edition, but my Russian is not yet good enough to identify the relevant details. Ideally the quotation would specify the edition used. PJTraill (talk) 23:26, 18 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@PJTraill: Thanks. That's annoying that there are different texts. Bulgakov didn't write two versions of the book. BTW, publish your word questions in WT:TR where there is more visibility. Term talk pages are usually ignored. --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 23:37, 18 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Atitarev I shall do that. PJTraill (talk) 20:39, 20 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I hope you don't mind if I show how to link terms better using templates? --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 23:42, 18 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, that is good to know! (My suboptimal links came from having copied from a quotation using a different template.) PJTraill (talk) 20:39, 20 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
