Не правильно ли скоерее "церквям", "церквями"?

Да, «церквям»/«церквями» тоже правильно. —Stephen 01:11, 20 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

церквью[edit]

(Notifying Atitarev, Cinemantique, KoreanQuoter, Useigor, Wanjuscha): I heard my grandmother say це́рквью the other day (I had never heard such a pronunciation before). Is this a common colloquial alternative of це́рковью, or is it uncommon? I have read that восьмью́, which sounds equally strange to me, is an acceptable alternative of восемью́. --WikiTiki89 15:31, 21 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, they are uncommon, harder to pronounce but acceptable alternatives. --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 22:13, 21 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Nope, correct pronunciation in Russian is [tserkoviu].Evrey9 (talk) 08:02, 22 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Circus/circulus[edit]

Latin "circus; circulus" (circle) > German "kirche" (church) > Russian "cerkow; tserkov'" (building-church). Greek "kyriakon" (Lord's) nothing to do here. Look at Byzantine churches' interior where is a huge circle on the floor in the very center of churches.Evrey9 (talk) 08:00, 22 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
