@Vahagn Petrosyan Khachatrian 1988:108 says this word is optionally pronounced with a trill in EA, as do a small list of other words. Do you agree? If so, maybe put this information into a colloquial form of the word? Hovsepig (talk) 04:48, 21 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Hovsepig: in EA r is colloquially and predictably trilled near most consonants. If we decide to show it, it will have to be done automatically. --Vahag (talk) 16:19, 21 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Vahagn Petrosyan: oh interesting! What’s your intuition on when it can become a trill? Hovsepig (talk) 16:21, 21 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Hovsepig: when it is followed by դ, զ, թ, ժ, ծ, ձ, ճ, շ, չ, ջ, ս, տ, ց. I didn't check the cases when it is preceded by a consonant. --Vahag (talk) 16:44, 21 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Vahagn Petrosyan: huh, before a coronal consonant. Cool. Thanks for letting me know :) Hovsepig (talk) 16:47, 21 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
