Western Armenian pronunciation

@Hovsepig, a Vienna Mekhitarist father I met this year was pronouncing this as ավըստրիական (avəstriakan) in Western Armenian. Is this the standard in WA? Vahag (talk) 21:20, 11 November 2022 (UTC)

@Vahagn Petrosyan: well, it's hard to say what's truly standard or not. But in my experience, WA prefers more schwas than EA. So Australia is more often pronounced Ավըստրալիա, but it's more of a statistical thing. Hovsepig (talk) 21:22, 11 November 2022 (UTC)
