@Vahagn Petrosyan: Well I think it is wholly borrowed from Middle Iranian; compare Kurdish bōža/ō "left over and damaged fodder" which it should be from earlier *bōža/ōx; compare it with Kurdish dōža and Old Armenian džox. Compare also Kurdish bē/ōžān "Achillea millefolium", bōžāna "herbage with small leaves and small gray flower used to mothproof clothes".--Calak (talk) 13:05, 30 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

In Yerznka the word is used as բոժախ բողիկ (božax boġik), as if it is an adjective. --Vahag (talk) 16:54, 30 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
