Talk:իրար

From Wiktionary, the free dictionary

This declension table is totally wrong. The word is plural and there are no nominative and locative forms. --GareginRA (talk) 10:48, 10 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

իրարու is an alternative version and not an inflection. It is listed separately in dictionaries.[1] GareginRA (talk) 11:20, 5 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It is not an inflection because it substitutes the entry word. You cannot use both իրարու and իրար in different cases unless one substitutes the other. Please, User:Vahagn Petrosyan, stop being so stubborn and admit your mistakes, just like I do. Also, don't rush when the matter isn't settled. We are both trying to make this website more accurate. ...At least I do. You've mentioned several times that you're not great at declensions and all that, so why such arrogance?? I really put a lot of effort studying this language and I want to make it easier for others. Seriously, stop... I mean, let's argue, let's find the right answers, conclusions. Why the war? Garegin, I have been very patient with you but you do not listen to what I am saying and are not looking at serious sources. I appreciate and commend your efforts to learn the language, but it is too soon for you to make major changes to Wiktionary or to argue with me. Vahag (talk) 23:54, 5 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
That is not true. I am reading carefully everything connected to my contributions and, in my opinion, I made a lot of progress, partly because of your just corrections. But now I stopped seeing any argumentation from you. Your claim that I don't listen seems groundless to me. Please provide examples of me "not listening to you" and the words that I didn't listen to. I might not know Armenian as well as you, but I know sufficient linguistics to tell one case of a word from another. So anyway, I would like you to continue performing as a tolerable administrator (can't call you a good one, sorry), but if you can't, I don't think you should be one.
