Meaning "enjoy"[edit]

@Hippietrail: Where did you find this definition? Neither Morphix nor Milog has it. --WikiTiki89 14:30, 20 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Wow that goes back to twelve years ago when the site was in its formative days indeed!
It seems that I added two senses to the translations section of English enjoy, which was not split into senses at that time. This makes me think that I had a basic dictionary or wordlist as source that also just listed a bunch of words without any extra info about senses.
I added those on 11 July 2004, the same day I created the initial Hebrew entry. I'd say in the intervening years all the people who updated the article just appended to it, afraid to fix the old stuff already there?
In any case it goes back to the lesser used sense of the English word that we currently define as "To have the use or benefit of something. "I plan to go travelling while I still enjoy good health.‎"
Please feel free to fix as you see fit. We may well not have had any Hebrew experts yet back then? — hippietrail (talk) 17:54, 20 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
