שלום also functions as "goodbye", much like Hawai'ian aloha. Also, good morning is generally בוקר טוב. Finally, שבת שלום should probably be its own entry, as it's somewhat idiomatic. A better choice might be שלום הורים . I'm not going to change any of this, since entering Hebrew text is painful on my system. -dmh 03:56, 30 Sep 2004 (UTC)
