@Kaixinguo~enwiktionary: Hi. You have removed the transliteration "fer’avn", which I've taken from the Persian Wikipedia "فِرعَون". Are you sure it's invalid? "fer’avn" also matches Arabic and many other languages, which may have borrowed the term from Persian. au, aw, ow, all represent the diphthong which corresponds to the aw in Arabic, So fer'awn or fir'aun would be simply the archaic variants of modern Persian fer'own, this is true for all words with this diphthong. The practice here in Wiktionary has been to include only the variant in the standard Persian of Iran. --Z 13:48, 1 January 2018 (UTC)
