No it isn't, you're right of course. Greek y yields ჳ. συγκλητικός (sunklētikós) -> სჳნკლიტიკოსი (swinḳliṭiḳosi), φοῖνιξ (phoînix) -> ფჳნიქსი (pwiniksi), συνείδησις (suneídēsis) -> სჳნდისი (swindisi), etc. I was adding a lot of OGE borrowed terms from Ancient Greek in that time period so I wasn't thinking very hard and got carried away. :) კვარია (talk) 08:50, 7 December 2021 (UTC)

That's what I thought. We too rendered Ancient Greek υ with something similar – իւ (iw) – trying to imitate the ü-like sound. Vahag (talk) 21:20, 7 December 2021 (UTC)
