@Fish bowl, the Weblio search results still illustrate that 同根語 has no entry in any reference other than Wikipedia, which is why I went ahead and included the link.

- It does illustrate that, but the preceding text "used in various references" seems to attach great value to the Google link, when what is found there is just ja.wp content (not very authoritative) hosted on another website.
