Module error[edit]

@Wyang I'm not sure, I think Module:cmn:pron must be struggling to process "yō" but it's a valid pinyin syllable. --Anatoli (обсудить/вклад) 15:30, 14 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Inverted characters?[edit]

the word is 唷喔, readen as "ōyō" in mandarin, but the characters are 唷=yō and 喔=ō so it would be readen as "yōō". Does anybody have an explaination?176.152.141.105 21:45, 6 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

I suspect that it is an irregular reading derived from Wu; see for example 查某 zābò. @Wyang, Atitarev? —suzukaze (tc) 21:49, 6 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
Thanks, the correct form is 喔唷, not 唷喔. Jyutping: "o1 jo1". You can move it. --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 22:13, 6 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
