Bachi, buchi[edit]

@Eirikr: bachi first appears in the Wamyō Ruijushō of 934, but buchi appears in firs5 Katakoto かた言 of 1650 and is mentioned as a shift from bachi (NKD concise in kotobank; I'm at school rn). Meanwhile, 打つ (butsu) appears in 1683. Thus, the etymology needs to be changed. Thank you. Chuterix (talk) 17:55, 6 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
