The definition here says that means person to live a life, but the entry for does not give this definition, instead stating that it means "house" or "family." Can this be updated? 24.93.190.134 01:48, 13 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

I've re-changed the definition here to and added a new meaning to the part of suffix of the page:. For this reason:

銀行家: banker (銀行:bank + 家) 舞踏家: dander (舞踏:dance + 家) 武道家: martial artist (武道:martial arts + 家) 音楽家: musician (音楽:music + 家) 登山家: climber (登山:climbing + 家) 探検家: explorer (探険:exploring + 家) 小説家: novelist (小説:novel + 家) Their occupations are the first parts of each words. and all of them are experts. I mean... professional = the expert who holds the occupation. --Carl Daniels 14:42, 13 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
