Eire[edit]

Rfv-sense, "The island of Ireland, consisting of the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland". I've never known it to mean the entire island when used in English. (It does in Irish, but that is spelt with a accent over the capital Éire) The wikipedia article links to Éire, not Eire.--Dmol 10:22, 2 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Cited. It may require some sort of sense label, maybe (obsolete except historical or polemical), but I don't have the confidence to add it. —RuakhTALK 16:08, 9 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
