There could easily be a separate etym for the surname[edit]
but, until there actually is one, there's no need to distinguish a deeply AAPI surname that is precisely a pinyin form from the pinyin-derived surname immediately below it. Once there are separate etymons, it may still be necessary to combine them unless the frequency stat can be separated somehow. — LlywelynII 11:01, 12 April 2024 (UTC)
