Pronunciation[edit]

I added sections for two given names: one pronounced /nilə/ (in various interviews I found with Indian men and women who have the name, and with one African man, a Dr Nila Jackson), and another one pronounced /naɪlə/, which is borne by two (black) women I know, a (white) woman named Dr. Nila Novotny I found a video of an interview with, and a woman named Nila Lovegren I found a video of a funeral service for. (The name is recorded as having been borne by a "mulatto child" in America in a will from 1781.) - -sche (discuss) 03:14, 2 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
