Is it really /ˈpɔrɪk/? I dont know any Irish, but I heard someone with this name in the USA who referred to himself as something like /pɔdrɪg/ ... juuuust want to see if anyone who's watching this knows better. Soap (talk) 22:21, 6 August 2012 (UTC)
- There's more than one pronunciation. I don't think any dialect of Irish pronounces it /ˈpɔrɪk/ exactly, but [ˈpˠɑːɾˠəc] is plausible. So is [ˈpˠɑːdˠɾˠəɟ]. —Angr 20:34, 7 August 2012 (UTC)
