Poken?[edit]
Am I the only person that ever knew the Pokemon currency to be called Poken (or Pokén), a portmanteau of Pokémon Yen? This was long before Pokkén the game, and I feel like Pokédollar may have been a term used exclusively in the US, as it is not familiar to me. Pokébucks are the next most familiar to me, but perhaps only from seeing it online more recently. I have no idea where I picked Poken up from, perhaps a magazine back in the day.
