You pronounce it Svean

No, short, rhymes with Ben and Ken. ( The reply is a little late) --Makaokalani 17:00, 29 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Sven

Why is the Dutch entry constantly being removed from Sven. "Sven" is actually a German, Scandinavian, AND Dutch name. It says so on both Wikipedia and behindthename.com. See for yourself! Please answer me how Sven is not a Dutch name? (Bennyben1998 (talk) 02:38, 4 January 2017 (UTC)Bennyben1998)Reply

FWIW, I know of at least one Dutch speaker with that name: see User:Sven70. Chuck Entz (talk) 04:26, 4 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, it's fairly common here. I think CodeCat may have been reverting because of the poor formatting, but honestly a quick fix instead of repeated unexplained reverts would have been far more productive.. — Kleio (t · c) 14:09, 4 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
