Etymology

The word Vatican means "Place of Divination" or "Place of Sorcery." Along with its Royalist allies, this Atonist (Luciferian) front has subjugated the world. Erected on 7 hills, it is the prototype for "Capitol Hill" in America. I am reading on a conspiracy blog that the word means "House of the Serpent", however, without any scholarly references both of this assertions are inapplicable for this article. __meco 15:27, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

It would be worth checking the OED to see whether they have such a definition and what kind of cites they feel support it. I didn't see such a definition in any of the OneLook references. DCDuring (talk) 22:28, 1 February 2023 (UTC)
