Etymology in Tagalog[edit]

@TagaSanPedroAko To be honest, I distrust that online dictionary with what it says, so I did some digging, and I found the word analisis used in a Tagalog text in 1903, so that kinda shows it's from Spanish. @Mar vin kaiser We do have loanwords where the English and Spanish match in pronunciation, so it's not impossible they can be either, but if we bring up the question of the first attestation, either during Spanish times, early American colonization (when Spanish was still the language of the elite) or the post-colonial era, it can be one of them or both. When is the book you cited published? TagaSanPedroAko (talk) 10:11, 16 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
@TagaSanPedroAko: I just said it, 1903. In my first message. --Mar vin kaiser (talk) 10:13, 16 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
