Sources for adjective meaning

Could sources for the definition of the adjective-meaning be provided. please? I cannot find the word under either of the specified adjective meanings in the Oxford English Dictionary, and would like to know whether they really can be used out of colloquial context, or, more precisely, in official or scientific language. The adjective can be found in the Chambers and Merriam-Webster dictionaries. It is not marked as informal or non-standard. I'm very surprised if it's really not in the Oxford Dictionary. Equinox ◑ 15:41, 27 October 2014 (UTC)

Used adverbially in first example?

Isn't borderline used adverbially in the first example ("He is borderline hypoglycemic and needs to monitor his sugar intake.")? It modifies an adjective (hypoglycemic) rather than a noun in this case, and adjectives are modified by adverbs, not other adjectives. 92.109.227.50 16:49, 23 November 2017 (UTC)
