Vietnamese. Vote to remove SoP tag. Idiomatic expression.--Duchuyfootball (talk) 09:42, 1 December 2023 (UTC)

- Could you explain how these expressions are idiomatic? MuDavid 栘𩿠 (talk) 02:49, 19 January 2024 (UTC)
- Chẳng bao giờ = never. Components (possible): chẳng + bao giờ = not + when. It's not SoP, so maybe idiomatic.
- I checked đoạn văn again and it was somewhat SoP.
- As for ghi bàn, the defition isn't currently in the word "ghi" (write) (or it's there but it's hard to tell without examples). So either add the definition there or keep this. Duchuyfootball (talk) 14:22, 31 January 2024 (UTC)
- Bao giờ also means “at some unspecified time”. (Most question words in Vietnamese have this use.) Negating this gives “at no time”. MuDavid 栘𩿠 (talk) 02:56, 15 February 2024 (UTC)
- Reasonable. I undo my vote for the first 2. ghi bàn is there for debate. Duchuyfootball (talk) 09:40, 20 February 2024 (UTC)
- I don’t know much about sports, but it seems to me ghi bàn is indeed rather idiomatic, so we can keep this. For chẳng bao giờ and đoạn văn I still vote delete. I guess that settles it? MuDavid 栘𩿠 (talk) 03:40, 22 February 2024 (UTC)

Final verdict: delete chẳng bao giờ and đoạn văn, keep ghi bàn. MuDavid 栘𩿠 (talk) 02:03, 8 March 2024 (UTC)
