Rfv-sense: "A thousand-year period of peace and prosperity". I can find plenty of quotes to support the doctrinal sense, but not the event. --EncycloPetey 22:13, 23 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

  • I note the initial gloss uses belief in rather than the more accurate, if I understand correctly, doctrine of. "Belief in" seems to suggest a personal belief in the reality of chiliasm, which I think would be uncountable.
    Also, I note the usage:
    At the end of time, when the circle of chiliasms shall be exhausted, will come the final paradise. — 1866, Ernest Renan, The Life of Jesus.
