Redirect[edit]

Considering that quite a few plurals redirect back to their singular form, and that this is more useful (reduces clicks while still providing the same information), why exactly does currants merit its own page? Many plural entries cannot simply redirect to the singular form for various reasons (see "as", "data", and "nuts" for examples), so for consistency, each plural entry receives a short definition pointing to the singular. Rod (A. Smith) 03:11, 21 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
