- Yes. My understanding is that UFOs are either oblate spheroids (somewhat saucer-shaped) or prolate spheroids (cigar-shaped). SemperBlotto (talk) 21:22, 29 August 2012 (UTC)
- I was wondering whether we could merge the two senses. The second (alien craft) one only seems to differ in having a "usually metallic appearance", which seems like encyclo bluster. However, the question of which ones are "unidentified" objects may be more pertinent. Equinox ◑ 21:23, 29 August 2012 (UTC)
