This is definitely a real thing. The problem is finding uses on accepted permanently archived sources. I added one from The Atlantic to the main page, and there are a bunch on the citations page that come from a Google news search (but do not fit into our current definition of "permanently archived"). Also, the definition is off, it is not limited to essential oils - it is any MLM recruitor who uses false endearments. Kiwima (talk) 22:09, 11 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

I found one:
  • 2021 September 20, Lux Alkazar, "Drinking the Girl Boss Kool-Aid", in Pelican, vlume 92, edition 5, "Name/less", pages 26 and 28:
Okay, look. I know these types of messages and 'hunbots' are a well-known meme at this point. [] The drinks are sold as loaded teas [...] I'm not going to list all the stores, because having an army of hunbots come after me once in my life was enough, but consider anything alluding to sipping, gulping, blending or mixing in the name to be a red flag. Or anything called a 'nutrition studio'. Or anyone offering a dollar discount if you post about it online.

I've just added two: Marie Claire in 2019 quoting an Instagram post, and a 2021 blog post archived by the Way Back Machine. Cnilep (talk) 03:38, 27 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
Please @Svartava2:, if you are going to fail out entries like this, move the citations that are on the page to the citations page before you delete them all. Kiwima (talk) 20:02, 31 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
Marie Claire is a print magazine. I don't know for sure if it is in Lexis or ProQuest, but I expect that it is. Now that the quotation has been deleted, though, it will be considerably harder to look for it when I get back to the library. Cnilep (talk) 00:25, 4 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
I put the two citations on the citations page. I thought we accept quotes that are archived on the Wayback Macine. DCDuring (talk) 12:46, 4 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

While we do not accept the Wayback Machine for "permanently archived", I did find another cite in "The Standard" (the Missouri State University newspaper), which is printed, so, along with the Marie Claire, we are now cited. Kiwima (talk) 20:19, 4 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
