  • How come no one put any comments into this discussion thread before just summarily changing the entry that I labored over? I tried to do the right thing, but someone just took it upon themselves to change it all around without even bothering to add a discussion comment. If someone changes things around again, can they please leave a comment here? Thanks.

Interesting. The Oxford English Dictionary provides quotations which show usages of "opinionnaire" (spelled with a lowercase "o" and with the meaning provided in the Wiktionary entry) dating back to 1939. The Forum Foundation may have rights to the use of this term in its own channel of trade (and spelled with a capital "O") but I doubt that the Forum Foundation has any rights whatsoever to the use of this term in its generic sense and spelled with a lowercase "o". (PS: I'm not who "someone" who fiddled with your original entry. I just happened upon this.) -- WikiPedant 06:02, 27 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
