This sounds wrong. It's like it's synonmizing pedophile with child molester. — This comment was unsigned.
- While this word might seem morphologically ambiguous — some sexuality terms, like heterosexuality, often refer to attraction rather than sexual activity — it turns out that when this word is actually used, people are almost always referring to activity, not attraction: see Citations:pedosexuality. Also, note that most of the -sexuality words that refer to attraction, like heterosexuality, are polysemous and do also refer to activity. As you can see from Citations:pedosexuality, it seems that even this word is showing signs of polysemy — it's just so rarely used that not all of its possible senses are actually attested often enough to meet Wiktionary's criteria for inclusion. - -sche (discuss) 21:54, 6 February 2015 (UTC)
- I think it is a neologism which has some attested use. It seems to be used in Northern Europe. It seems to be used in translations from German. A polysemy is evident, for example, the quote from Continuum Complete International Encyclopedia of Sexuality article (see Citations:pedosexuality) shows it is criminal behavior and a synonym of pedophilia, but some authors and websites make a distinction that pedosexuality is behavior but pedophilia is not. I think the definition of pedosexuality should be:
{{label|en|behavior}}
{{synonym of|pedophilia|lang=en}}
