It does appear slightly off. It should be /paɪˈniːəl ɡlænd/ (both AmE and BrE). By the by, I notice that some IP has recently added /ˈpɪnɪəl/ as the pronunciation of pineal. Does anyone really use that pronunciation? I have never heard it in American English. As far as I know, it is only /paɪˈni.əl/. —Stephen (Talk) 04:40, 13 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
