prévalant (adjective) and prévalants[edit]

It's a somewhat common spelling error (the right spelling for the adjective is prévalent, unlike the past participle), but I think that nobody considers it as a legitimate spelling. Google figures: "prévalents": 45 100, "prévalants": 3 030, Google Books figures: "prévalents": 3 860, "prévalants": 755 (surprisingly high, but I find that there are scanning errors and that some of the uses are, clearly, not adjectives).
