Intransitive[edit]
- (transitive) To change, swap.
- His political stance shifted daily.
So this is a transitive definition, but there's an example where it's used intransitively... I feel I ought to leave this to the native speakers (or at least those more familiar with this word), but that seems in need of fixing. How about "he shifted his political stance daily" or something along those lines? Does that sound right? - Fyrius (talk) 15:14, 17 December 2013 (UTC)
