Talk:thief

I have heard thief used in a verbal sense by persons of Jamaican /West Indian origin in UK:

...'im thief it dis mornin'...

Any one else agree or disagree? trunkie 13:34, 4 Mar 2004 (UTC)

Can't say I've heard it myself but Google finds 1,600 hits for "thiefed" or "thiefing" alone. It'd be best to get some rough demographic of when and who and where for such a seemingly recent slang usage. Hippietrail 14:00, 4 Mar 2004 (UTC)
Could it be an odd pronunciation of thieve, maybe? Ortonmc 21:07, 4 Mar 2004 (UTC)
