Rfv-sense: "Said when something must be done immediately: When transporting organs for transplant, time is of the essence." Seems redundant to the first sense: "Used to express a need for haste in action or response." ---> Tooironic (talk) 08:34, 22 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Judging by the formatting of the first revision, that text was never meant to be its own sense, but rather an explanation of the first sense. —suzukaze (tc) 08:40, 22 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
