Also in fashion/clothing?[edit]

OED has "an item of clothing intended to be worn during the changing of the seasons", but I cannot find this used in GBooks. Equinox 10:30, 6 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Interesting; I can't either. Even on the web, the only use of transitioner for clothing I see is one spammy site offering a "Unisex genderless transitioner coat (2 Color) · 130,000 · 수량증가 수량감소", where the meaning is opaque. This says the OED added the sense in 2019; I would've expected them to include cites if it was a real (new or old) use they uncovered. I wonder if it's a copyright trap. I do see web hits for "transition jacket" without the -er, but can't immediately discern what they mean; some seem to be a brand name which may be vacuous (like Touareg cars, etc), some may mean they're sized for someone transitioning between kid and adult sizes... - -sche (discuss) 12:00, 6 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
