Is vagary ever used in the singular? Can someone confirm that vagaries as pronounced has the accent on the second a, and rhymes with hairies?
Need to combine definition with plural and alternate forms[edit]
It has been very frustrating trying to decipher the meaning of the word vagarities. I was sent on a wild goose chase following links before finally finding a related definition here. Here are the pages I checked, in order:
- vagarities: plural of vagarity
- vagarity: The character or state of being vagarious

In an actual analog (paper) dictionary, this would not be a problem because each definition would be on the same page and right next to each other. But online, I had to open five different pages. Couldn't we just redirect the first four entries to vagary, and expand the page to reference and provide examples for the other four related words?
