yea, verily[edit]

I see that there is no Wiktionary entry for yea, verily, though I think "verily" appears in this phrase most often. I recommend that it be added. 173.89.236.187 03:39, 7 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

In modern English it would be "yes, truly". Both yea and verily were often used with other words. I don't think there's anything particularly significant about this particular combination- it just happens that all the other combinations have been forgotten.
