How come it doesn't accept any parameters? Wouldn't just writing the category at the bottom of each page be as good? You could add the wikilinks from the category. Mglovesfun (talk) 23:51, 16 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect hyperlink to Japanese glossary?[edit]

@Eirikr Would you think it's a good idea to route the hyperlink that currently points to Wikipedia (w:Wasei-eigo) to point to our internal Appendix:Japanese glossary? If we did this, it would keep users from changing platforms, and I also find the loading times to be more bearable on Wiktionary than on Wikipedia, where a lot more content needs to be loaded. On the other hand, the detail gone into by the Wikipedia article is certainly more exhaustive than what is provided in the glossary.

This same question also applies to wasei kango, if you have any opinion on that too, for which I added a gloss on the glossary just today as well. I would @ others as well, but I'm not sure whom; don't know if this is a controversial decision, or else I'd have done it myself directly, but I would prefer to see at least someone else's opinion. I'm a fan of linking to the relevant terms on the Appendix:Japanese glossary page. Those themselves link to the WP articles, so interested readers can still get there pretty easily. ‑‑ Eiríkr Útlendi │Tala við mig 23:28, 11 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, I'll do it then. Thanks for your feedback, Kiril kovachev (talk) 22:41, 13 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It's been done now! Kiril kovachev (talk) 21:27, 14 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Kiril kovachev -- Cheers, thank you! ‑‑ Eiríkr Útlendi │Tala við mig 19:20, 17 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Eirikr Ah, never mind that, it appears the module I need to edit is actually locked. Module:compound/pseudo-loan perhaps for the time being it can stay. I'll write a post in the discussion over there perhaps. Kiril kovachev (talk) 22:45, 13 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
