Tibetan Plateau

  1. an orographic feature of Asia lying at the intersection of South Asia, East Asia and Central Asia, and variously considered part of those. It is a high altitude plateau north of the Great Himalaya ranges, west of the Szechuan basin, and south of the Taklamakan Desert.
