- For quotations using this term, see Citations:Trudeau salute.
Usage notes[edit]
- This term, in all its forms, is commonly used as an arthrous proper noun (as in the Trudeau salute), but use as a singular common noun (as in a Trudeau salute) is also adequately attested. However, the common noun's expected plural form Trudeau salutes is all but unattested, and may be considered more or less hypothetical.
Synonyms[edit]
- (to give the finger): flip off, flick off, give the finger, give the middle finger, give the one finger salute
