That entry was raised at WT:RFV (requests for verification), and nobody found three suitable citations to prove its existence in durably archived publications (not just Web pages, chat rooms, etc.), so it was eventually deleted. Can you find three citations for it meeting WT:CFI? Since it's Internet slang, a good place to look might be Usenet ("Google Groups"). Equinox ◑ 13:55, 28 February 2010 (UTC)

Sorry, but your links aren't Usenet. You need to avoid Web page results and use things posted on Internet newsgroups (which are durably archived), i.e. not just Google but Google Groups — and only the ones on real Usenet groups with "dotted" names like alt.something.like.this or comp.another.example. I just spent 10 or 15 minutes looking, and the only uses of "ikr" I can find on Usenet newsgroups are by someone called "Giovanna" on rec.sport.tennis. We need three citations. Yes, Google Groups is annoying; it often shows results that aren't Usenet. You just have to filter them out. I think ikr won't be ready for Wiktionary for a few years. It's probably rather new, recent slang that hasn't made it into sources that meet our WT:CFI rules. Equinox ◑ 21:40, 28 February 2010 (UTC)
