Translations[edit]

You know translations are formally banned in non-English entries, right? Mglovesfun (talk) 07:59, 6 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

What does that mean?--Brianann MacAmhlaidh 08:00, 6 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Well Scottisg Gaelic isn't English, so Scottish Gaelic entries can't have translations. Mglovesfun (talk) 08:01, 6 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Those were the forms of the name in other languages. I was following John.--Brianann MacAmhlaidh 08:08, 6 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
All I want to do is add the various forms of the name in other languages. How would you do that?--Brianann MacAmhlaidh 08:09, 6 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
John is English. So the translations that you are interested in, similarly, go at Donald. SemperBlotto 08:17, 6 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Ok thanks for at least telling me that. I just got blocked. What about foreign language words that don't have English equivalents? Gaelic names that aren't translated into English, but have variants in other languages?--Brianann MacAmhlaidh 08:22, 6 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

SemperBlotto[edit]

What's with the block? I did TWO reverts, because I didn't know what Mglovesfun was doing to my first articles. Since he told me translations weren't allowed I haven't edited anything but my talkpage. What's the block supposed to prove? How about helping the noobs instead of blocking them. You never even gave me a fucking warning--Brianann MacAmhlaidh 08:20, 6 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
