Hi there. Foreign words get translations, not definitions. Here is our standard welcome. SemperBlotto 16:36, 3 April 2006 (UTC)
Welcome!
Hello, and welcome to Wiktionary. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- Wiktionary Tutorial
- Community Portal
- Entry layout explained
- Criteria for inclusion
- FAQ
- How to edit a page
- How to start a page
- Wiktionary Sandbox (a safe place for testing syntax)
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wiktionarian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk (discussion) and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~, which automatically produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the beer parlour or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome!
Thanks for the welcome. I was actually trying to add it to the Danish wiktionary, but obviously that is not the way. I found it just after. Should/could we delete my mistake? --FrankSundgaard 16:48, 3 April 2006 (UTC)
Well, I shall delete Zebrafinke if you think it is wrong. The two questions that I have are 1) should it be capitalized or not 2) does the word have a gender? Could you also check the capitalizations of the other translations please? SemperBlotto 18:50, 3 April 2006 (UTC)
