The programming language is Python, not python. Wiktionary is case-sensitive. Cheers, --EncycloPetey 19:27, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome[edit]

Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wiktionary. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wiktionarian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk (discussion) and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~, which automatically produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to one of the discussion rooms or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome! --EncycloPetey 19:55, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

BTW - we don't link words from example sentences. --EncycloPetey 19:55, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please take a moment to look at the mininum formatting requirements given on WT:ELE.. Every entry must have a language header, a part of speech header, and follow the minimum formatting requirements. --EncycloPetey 20:47, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have inserted a reference to WordNet in the Wiktionary glossary, besides moving "wordnet" to "WordNet". As a proper noun (which it is) it may have to meet tougher criteria for inclusion, but will probably remain in the Glossary. See WT:CFI. DCDuring 23:52, 24 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
