Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wiktionary. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wiktionarian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk (discussion) and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~, which automatically produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the beer parlour or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome! --Connel MacKenzie 07:24, 11 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

Capitalization[edit]

Only proper nouns are capitalized here. Also we prefer singular rather than plural as the base definition. Therefore see Political Risks and political risk SemperBlotto 07:24, 13 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

risk assessment[edit]

I see that you have given this two definitions. Does that mean it has two different meanings? By the way, dictionaries do not normally repeat the word being defined in the actual definition. SemperBlotto 09:02, 13 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Adding translations[edit]

Hi there! When adding translations like Afrikaans (wat 'n mooie taal!) please use the {{t}} template. instead of adding "Afrikaans: gemene reg", add "Afrikaans: {{t|af|gemene reg}}". This will link the translation to the entry page for the word. If you need to know more, see Wiktionary:Translations or ask me by adding your question below this text.
