Etymology [edit]
The Latvian Wikipedia first adopted Wikipēdija, similarly to the English Wikipedia, but later dropped that and changed for Vikipēdija, which has Latvian alphabet letters only and incorporates the ending of the Latvian word enciklopēdija (“encyclopedia”).
