Lower Sorbian (ISO 639-3: dsb, dolnoserbski; also called Lower Lusatian or Lower Wendish) is an endangered West Slavic language spoken in southeastern Brandenburg, Germany. Entries in Lower Sorbian at Wiktionary follow the same basic entry layout as is used throughout the dictionary.

Pronunciation information can be added in IPA, following the conventions of Appendix:Lower Sorbian pronunciation.

The headword line information can be added using one of the headword-line templates (if available) or else {{head}} in the usual way.

Sorting: When sorting terms in categories, treat ó as o since these two letters are alphabetically equivalent in Lower Sorbian. Other letters with diacritics should be kept separate from the simple letters.

Headword-line templates are available for nouns, verbs, and adjectives:

  • {{dsb-noun}} includes parameters for gender, number (in the case of dualia and pluralia tantum), diminutive form, and opposite-gender form.
  • {{dsb-verb}} includes a parameter for aspect.
  • {{dsb-adjective}} includes parameters for comparative and adverbial forms.

For other parts of speech, please use {{head}}.

For non-lemma forms of adjectives, determiners, nouns, numerals, proper noun, pronouns, participles, and verbs, please use {{inflection of}}.

Declension table templates are available for nouns, adjectives, and determiners. Their names refer to the numbered declension classes of the two major Lower Sorbian dictionaries, Jannusch's Deutsch-niedersorbisches Wörterbuch/Słownik němsko-delnjoserbski and Starosta's Dolnoserbsko-nimski słownik/Niedersorbisch-deutsches Wörterbuch.

The declension tables available for adjectives (including present active and perfect passive participles) are:
